Wonderful spring interest with soft pink flowers standing out before foliage. Fall brings creamy yellow leaves which fall in order to show the pretty, silver-grey bark underneath, heavily laden with lenticels. Great tree for a specimen, urban and woodland garden, mixed borders, patio tree, corner foundation and yard tree. Rapid growth rate and easy care. One of the first plants to bloom in the spring.

Care Information:

Water thoroughly when first planted and follow a regular watering schedule until established with an extensive root system. Feed with a general purpose fertilizer before new growth in the spring. Prune for shape and structure after flowering. Prune more heavily in winter.
